Once upon a time...
It all began in 1999 when globe-trotting couple Marion and Philip Anthony came back to the UK, settled back into their East Anglian roots and set up Heritage Hideaways in the attic of their Suffolk home!
Heritage Hideaways has grown significantly over the years, and now has a portfolio of just under 100 quality holiday homes in beautiful locations throughout Norfolk and Suffolk.
All of our Suffolk cottages and Norfolk cottages have been carefully selected for their unique qualities of location, character and comfort, and many are VisitBritain graded, meaning the
We are still an independent, family-run business and we like to think this gives us a more personal approach in our dealings with our owners and guests alike.
The Heritage team
We have a great team here at Heritage Hideaways; Tanya, Lizzie and Cathy and our two friendly doggy companions - Mango and Isla! We have all been involved in customer service and hospitality in our careers and are a combination of bright young things and wiser, older heads!
We visit all our holiday homes on a regular basis, so we can offer personal, knowledgeable advice on which cottage is best suited for your needs.
All of our Suffolk cottages and Norfolk cottages have been carefully selected for their unique qualities of location, character and comfort. They have all been individually inspected and comply with a common high standard, based on our own experience. Many of the owners have come to us through personal recommendation.
Heritage Hideaways aspires to offer you something that many companies fail to achieve - an experienced and enthusiastic team able to listen to your individual requirements.

The favourite part of my job is finding new cottages to add to our growing portfolio. I love meeting with our owners and guests and helping to create the perfect holiday cottage for others to enjoy many happy holidays in.
It is always very rewarding when we have guests come back to us time and time again and we always value our customers' feedback, as it allows us to improve on the service that we provide.
